Children’s Books
Well, hello there.
Welcome to my realm of children’s book illustrations.
Are you looking for a colourful children’s book for your young child, grandchild, niece, nephew or a friend?
Well I’m excited to share with you two books, which are based on my sister’s old cat, a Scottish Shorthair called Connor.
My mum wrote the poetic stories, which I then turned into pitures.
Enjoy browsing through the quirky and witty illustrations or watch a sneaky peak of the open books,
Connor the Cat and the sequel Connor the Cat at the Vet.
Connor the Cat
is quite the family affair…
My sister had a beautiful old Scottish shorthair cat called Connor, who would stay with my mum Elke Cheetham, while my sister went on business trips. One day whilst looking after him, Elke decided to write a poem about this funny little cat. She was so excited about it, that she asked me, if I’d like to illustrate it, which I happily did and that’s how the book series of Connor the Cat began.

Joy from the YouTube channel ‘Bedtime story read aloud by Joy’ featured Connor the Cat in her video,
where she reads you the whole book with images. It’s an adorable representation of the book. Thanks Joy!
Connor the Cat at the Vet
This is the second book of the series, which Elke wrote based on the true events that unfortunately happened to Connor, my sister’s Scottish shorthair. He had a bit of tooth trouble to say the least, but to find out what happens… well I guess you’ll just have to read the book.
It’s a great little story, which may help your youngsters with the worries of having to take your pet to the vet.

If you are an author in need of a bright, colourful and witty illustrator, I would love to hear from you. I adore children’s books and can immediately imagine vivid images and characters, as soon as I start reading something engaging.
I have a BA(Hons) in Illustration and Animation, which helps with the technical and practical side of things and have setup our own family publishing company under the name Elsana Publishing, from which we have self-published the second book of the series.
